Mackenzie Mendez

Mackenzie “Mac” Mendez was born in upstate New York. Upon his graduation from The Culinary Institute of America, Mac pursued multiple high end chef positions all across the greater Atlanta area. Following nearly a decade of working in the food service industry, Mac traded in his chef’s apron for a firefighters helmet. Having been a dream since his childhood, Mac had seen his desire to become a firefighter manifest into reality when reciting the fireman’s creed among all his academy comrades in the Spring of 2021. Mackenzie now serves his community as a full-time firefighter and lives in Atlanta with his wife, Grace.
